Conference Features

In addition to powerful plenary sessions, workshops, testimonies, and small groups, WCC also uniquely offers:

Ministry Consultation

This program is designed to provide role models or mentors who make themselves available to meet one-on-one with conferees to discuss more personal issues. The range of topics that conferees typically desire consultation for are information about: specific geographical locations or people groups; practical steps to take; dealing with parental opposition or the need to care for aging parents; issues related to singleness and dating (especially if the conferee is dating someone with a different calling); perspectives on the various seminaries, etc. Usually, each conferee will be given 30 minutes to talk to the Ministry Consultant.

"Though I did not intend to sign up for a ministry consultant, I decided to do so and was very blessed by what I knew to be a divine appointment. When I met with Shampa Rice, God's presence around her was really strong, and I found myself weeping in response. Through my time with Shampa, I was able to catch a glimpse of God's deep love for all." -Conferee '07

Ministry Representative/Booths

Ministry information booths set up by various organizations allow conferees to sample the range of organizations that might help them in their plans to fulfill their commitments to the Lord. This year, organizations will have increased visibility in order to help conferees network and discover new opportunities.

Special Interest Groups & Networking

Join or initiate strategic and informal groups based on common interests and focus topics. (Conferees are to set up their own meeting topics, times and locations.)

Small Group Options

An important part of WCC is sharing and discussing both insights and questions with others in a small group: general or focused.

Focused Small Group

A focused small group is a same-gender accountability group that seeks to help each member identify areas that hinder one from moving forward in the fulfillment of their call in cross-cultural ministry to the nations. This will be an intensive and directed setting where together we prayerfully ask the Lord to bring breakthrough. Application is required on registration website. (Please note that this will take the place of Small Groups, and that this is NOT a Special Interest Group.)
